About Me

1My name is Jamie Brown and I currently serve as the Director of Worship and Arts at Truro Anglican Church in Fairfax, Virginia.

I was born and raised in Florida as a preacher’s kid. I began playing guitar at the age of seven, and began leading worship at the age of thirteen in our youth group and on Sunday mornings. I put my complete trust in Jesus Christ as a middle school student and knew then God’s calling on my life was to serve in full-time worship leading ministry.

Upon moving to Virginia, I attended George Mason University and earned a B.A. in Psychology. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Religion at Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.

I had the joy of recording three worship albums at my previous church. Two of them (“A Thousand Amens” and “For Our Salvation” can be found on iTunes, while “We Will Proclaim” can be found on Amazon.

I married the love of my life, Catherine, in 2006, and we have three beautiful little girls, Megan, Emma, and Callie, who keep us busy, laughing, praying, and very grateful to God.
