My name is Jamie Brown and I currently serve as the Associate Director of Worship and Music at The Falls Church (Anglican) in Falls Church, Virginia, where I have the joy of overseeing the contemporary music ministry and leading the music regularly at the Saturday 5:00pm and Sunday 11:00am informal services.
I was born and raised in Florida, where my father served as the pastor of several Episcopal churches throughout the years. I began playing guitar at the age of seven, and began leading worship at the age of thirteen in our youth group and on Sunday mornings. I put my complete trust in Jesus Christ as a middle school student and knew then God’s calling on my life was to serve in full-time worship leading ministry.
Upon moving to Virginia, I attended George Mason University and earned a B.A. in Psychology. I joined the staff of The Falls Church in July 2004. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Religion at Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.
I married the love of my life, Catherine, in 2006, and we welcomed our first daughter, Megan, into the world in September 2009.
